FLUKE RIGGING GUIDE
Our flukes are more buoyant than salt-infused competitors, allowing for a natural upright presentation when weighted and true topwater action when rigged weightless. Each size can be used across both freshwater and saltwater, depending on conditions.
Sold individually
3.75” FLUKES (FINESSE / LIGHT TACKLE)
Great for freshwater, as well as inshore saltwater, dock fishing, and surf.
Common Rigging:
- 1/8–1/4 oz underspins
- Weightless 1/0–2/0 weedless hook
- Drop shot
- Dart/ball head
- Damiki rig
- Scrounger head (1/8–3/8 oz)
5.75” FLUKES (ALL-AROUND SIZE)
A versatile option for both freshwater and saltwater. Ideal for bass, inshore species, and surf fishing.
Common Rigging:
- 4/0–5/0 weedless hook (weightless or weighted)
- Underspins / sled heads
- Chatterbait or swim jig trailer
- Scrounger head (1/4–3/4 oz)
- Bounce ball/surf setups
8” FLUKES (SALTWATER / BIG GAME)
Best for targeting larger species, such as White Sea Bass and Halibut. Most commonly rigged with a lead head.
Recommended Setup:
- Lead head: 1–2 oz for most conditions
- Shallow water: 1/2–3/4 oz
- Deeper water: go heavier to get down faster
These fish are typically in deeper water, so heavier weights help your lure sink quickly—especially for White Sea Bass.
